Killing Castro Premiere Party At CIBO (Yorkville)

Fun Fact: I actually come from Afro-Cuban lineage. Cuba's about a 30 min plane ride away from Jamaica. My maternal grandmother made the move as a foster child herself before the revolution.

Fidel Castro has always been an intriguing figure to me and I jumped at the chance to be involved in this movie when it was presented to me.

I had a week or so and managed to raise nearly $10,000.00 in cash sponsorship and had the pleasure of helping my boy Drew get his premium vodka, BANK VODKA the exclusive sponsorship of the event.

The movie is a true story of when Fidel was invited to speak to the UN in NYC and chose to stay in Harlem...while the mafia and the CIA tried to kill him. lol.

Directed by legendary music video director Eif Rivera and executive produced by DJ Khaled, the film was sure to draw lots of interest from the music industry and we were honored to have performances by FAT JOE and The Fugees own, WYCLEF JEAN.
